Julie Dutton, PTA, ATC, LAT

Julie is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Director of Athletic Training Services, and Physical Therapist Assistant at Integrated Rehabilitation Services, whose career grew from a lifelong love of sports and science. She is inspired by the goals that athletes and active adults set for themselves, and enjoys the challenge of helping them attain their goals. Growing up, Julie played softball, soccer and basketball.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Biology at Springfield College in 1991. After college, Julie participated in continuing education at The United States Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs, CO, and The Rehab Institute of Chicago, where she further developed her skills and enthusiasm for youth fitness and healthy sports participation.

Julie joined Coventry Soccer, Inc as a parent volunteer in 2002, and within a couple of years was coordinator of the Instructional Program, and coached her daughter’s D4 team until 2014.  She was awarded CJSA-NED Volunteer of the Year in 2007, CJSA-NED Coach of the Year in 2011, and CJSA-NED Contributor Award in 2013.

Julie co-founded Coventry Soccer for the Cure in 2013, and helped the Coventry Soccer community raise $4500 for Susan G. Komen.  She has been a certified American Red Cross Instructor since 1996.  Julie completed her PTA degree in May of 2015, and is thrilled to be serving the Coventry community in the physical therapy setting.
